The American Heart Association HeartCode®️ BLS Provider Course is designed for healthcare professionals who need to recognize life-threatening emergencies, perform high-quality CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and work effectively as part of a resuscitation team.
HeartCode®️ BLS utilizes a blended learning approach that combines online education with practical instructor-guided skills training.
Participants complete the online portion independently before attending a scheduled hands-on skills session and practical assessment at CO-AT Training Center.
The American Heart Association currently delivers BLS Provider training through the HeartCode®️ blended learning model across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Successful completion of both components is required to obtain an American Heart Association BLS Provider certification.
Upon registration, participants receive access to the AHA HeartCode®️ BLS online learning program through their eLearning account.
Participants must complete all online modules before attending the practical session.
After successfully completing the online learning component, participants attend a scheduled instructor-led practical session at CO-AT Training Center.
Participants must successfully demonstrate all required skills according to American Heart Association standards.
